1. An easy to follow pattern that will guide you in making these adorable hats. With all my patterns, I am available to be contacted if you have any questions or need help.
2. You will need #4 worsted weight yarn in black; red, white and pink, a crochet hook in US size H (5.0 mm), a yarn needle for weaving in ends and 2 buttons for the brim of the hat. You will only need small amounts of yarn to make a hat. Most of all, use the pattern to make beanie hats (just leave off the ears) and use up your scrap yarn!
3. You will need to know how to single crochet (sc), half-double crochet (hdc), slip stitch (sl st) and work in the round. I’ve included the directions for making the polka dots for Mrs. bow. In addition, I wrote this pattern in US crochet terminology and the skill level is rated as Easy to Intermediate.
4. Finally, hat sizes in this pattern include Preemie, Newborn, 3-6 months, 6-12 months, toddler 1-3 years, child 3-10 years. In addition, pictured are also examples of the hats.
